Skiing in Northern Norway 2013
10 dager på tur med to gode kompiser, Lofoten, Tamokdalen og Narvik.
April is a great period for skiing in Lofoten. This time two friends and I went towards Henningsvær to ski The Priests couloir.

Most people use the skiresort for fun, by taking the lift up and skiing down. In an afternoon they probably get 20-30 runs down the slope.
I walk up the slopes, with skins under my skies, high pulse, my breath going hard – BUT I LIKE IT!
Yesterday I had three turns up an down the slope. Most of the other skiers probably thought I was a wirdoe!
WHO cares, I getting in shape for some bigger mountains!
I’m sitting in my office, waiting for the snow to fall down from the sky. It’s still green gras outside – is there anything I can do to make it snow?
I want to feel the adrenaline pump through my vains when I ski down steep hills from the peaks i meterdeep powdered snow.
I guess your waiting too.
See you on the peak later on this season!
While waiting I enjoy movies posted by other skiers that are more priviliged than me and envy them:

Have fun waiting!
See you at the peaks later!
